2010 Altima Factory Nav

Hi. I recently bought a 3.5 SR with Nav and I was wondering if anyone else has there Nav functions fully enabled while in drive.
I understand that everyone is attempting Nav hacks for the previous years and I wasn't sure if this was changed for the 2010 model year.
If it makes a difference I bought a Canadian Model so is it specific to Canada. I tried playing a dvd while in drive but it won't let me,
I need to put the car in park and have the hand(foot)brake on.

I was also wondering how I can update the Nav as this year they changed it from DVD to hard-drive based, I checked the DVD slot and it doesn't contain the Nav DVD that everyone has. I spoke to my dealer and all he said was that it will be updated automatically but I'm not sure what that meant.
