Hello!

With my lease ending on my current vehicle in a few weeks, I finally decided on the Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 as my next vehicle. I ordered a black exterior, with black interior from my dealership.

They called yesterday to tell me that it had come in. HOWEVER, that the interior had red leater seats and red door trim. They asked if I would like this one instead. If not, they can re-order me a black interior car.

Here are the pics sent to me by the dealer. What does everyone think? Does the red look good? Or should I get the black leather seats instead?

Thanks for everyones help!!!!!

I think it looks nice though I wish they did put some black into the seats somewhere instead of it being all red. More importantly, how do you like it? Remember you'll be stuck with the car for a while so don't settle if it doesn't appeal to ya

I personally love the red leather . I would have loved it if they had it as a option on the older coupes. What really matters is if you like it

Too much red for my taste ... wish it had some black trim to break it up as suggested above.

I like the tow-tone doors but the seats are a little too much red. In my opinion, tell them to bring in what you want. If's there's another one in the area and they know you want it, they'll do a dealer trade to get it.

I wanted black interior first, but now that I see the red, I like that too. The dealer can order me a black interior no problem, so its not a matter of being pushed over, I just want to see which everyone prefers because I like them both now.

Congrats on an excellent choice of vehicle! The red looks nice but some black mixed in would have been better. Ultimately, you have to live with it....depends if you want some color or want the all black look!

Here I am, having been unable to find a manual transmission coupe for two years (always peek around even after having bought my 08 over a year ago) and you've got TWO SR 6MTs with leather sitting in front of you. I hate the southeast. LOL

Black w/ Black. That red is too much of a flash in the pan fad. Mark my words, no one will care about that color configuration in a couple years, and it won't show back up any later than 2012. You can't go wrong with black interior. It's classier. The red is obnoxious imho.

Someone above me posted that it would be totally different if the red seats weren't solid red, but if they were red accented on black it'd be different - I agree with that. The solid red seats are just too much, especially since it's not even that great of a shade of red.

Do it big and get that damn 6MT either way. haha

if you plan to keep it stock then i say get the black interior..but if your planning to do mods then get the red leather because you could tie that in nicely with some black rims with a red lip..i saw another 2010 that did that and i really liked it

Haha, that made me laugh. Honestly, I'm partial to the solid black interior. If the red leather was two-tone with black, it would be orgasmic. Either way, looks like you'll be getting a 3.5 with a 6MT, so I'm sure you'll be happy. That combo makes for a fun car to drive!

the red leather is fugly and not tastefully done, they should have made it red with black accents not completely red, if you like it then cool but if you picked the black then stay with it imo its a cleaner nicer look

If you ask me, all I can say is super sexy especially a female driving a manual ohh man that's even hotter but still the choice is yours either you go for black and red or black and black.. I'll have to show u a couple of pix of my white and red. But overall very nice choice v6 and mt6.. And welcome to the club

I personally say black. I dont like that color red. Its to in your face, plus it will get dirty easier, and when it starts to fade, it will be more noticeable. Now if you get the black, then you could have some red accents stitched in, aftermarket. Shouldn't cost but a couple hundred. Check with a couple auto body or taylor shops. I have a white 3.5 with Black interior and love it. I do like that red door trim thow. But you haft to live with it, so pick what you like the most. Usually your first instinct is the right one. You liked the black right away, but I am sure the red had to grow on you for a bit, thats why you arn't sure. I wouldn't settle for something that had to grow on me. jmo
