Hello all,

I have been doing some extensive reading about changing the XM to Sirius in Nissan vehicles. From my understanding I would need to swap out the exisiting XM tuner with the Sirius tuner Part #999U9-AS006 (plus modify the antenna jack slightly)

Has anyone tried this with a 2010 model ???
Will the steering controls work to change channels etc ... ???
Will the Bose screen display all the proper Sirius information (channel id, artist etc ..) ???
Where is the XM tuner located in the 2010 Altima ???

BTW, I am from Canada and I can not get XM with the best of Sirius, as the 2 companies have not merged here.

Thanks for your help

Although XM now owns Sirius, the two companies will never merge their services. I have asked this a dozen of times when ever I call them and both XM and Sirius plan to keep their services separate from eachother..

been looking into this recently also because i really wanted to transfer my sirius account somehow to use our roof antennas but it seems like that antenna on top won't work due to satellite positioning or something even if you have the proper receiver, etc. setup internally.

using the portable unit and aux input is such a clusterf... :tisk:
