hello there,

I took my rogue to the a/c tech today because it suddenly stops working and with the close to 100's degres here in mexico i believe to have it working is more than a need :D

he checked for any gas leak, nothing found, he then checked for voltage going into the compressor and both were ok, negative and positive, what he found to be the problem, according to him and excuse me for my poor technical english, was the coil that activates the clutch to let the compressor work, he said that probably that piece will not be sold as standalone but the whole piece, so I called the dealer, the rogue is out of the extended warranty, and they quoted me the whole assembly, not sure exactly what is called "whole assembly", but the dealer explained me the coil by itself is not sold.

So I made a research on ebay and on other parts dealers in usa, I am close to the border, but no luck, and that is why I found this page, thus I donder if anyone here can help to get this part? Is it ture that the whole assembly has to be bought together?

I will appreciate your help.

Regards,
-X

just in case someone is wondering how this problem was solved, a/c tech fixed it by using a piece from another car, not sure which one since the wife was the one who went for the car, it cost ~110 US against the ~800 US quoted from the dealer.

Thanks,
