Hey guys.
I have the 2010 a/c 2.5 with the premium package IN CANADA!!!

So The package come with the 4.3 display and Bose system but no backup cam!!!

That's why I'm trying to install the camera with the 4.3 Inch display since that's how it works in America.

Any idea if this should work??

Backup cam is an extra thing you should have purchased when you bought the car or it should have came with it. Check what you ordered.

After market cams would need a lot of modification to work with that display. You will need to get the actual backup cam to make it semi-plug n play.

I assume you are in Winnipeg? I'm in Halifax.

What kinda mod would I need?

Can't I just plug video in into the LCD monitor?

Is that a joke? Are you honestly saying you might trade in a car over a backup camera?

haha no, i have the 4 banger 2.5 SL and now i want a bit more power and something that has more aftermarket support since Nismo ain't got nothing for the 4th gen besides the bodykit... and some 3rd gen parts that fit the 4th gen.

sorry to give off the wrong vibe ;) i doubt anybody would be trading in cars just for a backup camera, that's just not logical!

There's all kinds of aftermarket support for the 2.5:

1. Intakes
2. Exhaust Systems / Headers
3. UpRev ECU Tuning / Bullydog Programmers
4. Short Shifter for MTX
5. Turbo Kits

You'll probably end up losing thousands trading in for a 3.5L. I dunno, unless you get a wicked deal go for it haha.

yeah there are actually a few choices but consider we are up north some of the parts are just expensive to ship to canada or the local pricing is just much higher than the shops in the states.

where do you guys get your parts from? hook me up with good canadian vendors? :)

I order from the states. It's really not that expensive. The dollar is on par. You just pay for shipping (which you would pay regardless). Most of the time the customs fees are very minimal. I get most of my stuff on eBay due to using PayPal. I try and watch for auctions in Canada, but honestly for any car, most after market parts come from the USA. If you buy locally you do not really save much because they mark up the price to cover the import fees and duties when they themselves order it from the USA.

hahaha again :)

And... What kinda mod would I need to do in order to view with a "generic" backup camera on this Bose HU (py05f)???

Or, if anyone have a wire diagram of this unit, maybe I figure out what need to do.

Anyone?...
