200sx with blown sbc 5.7

V8 240sx? Sure! If either the chassis OR the engine is non-Nissan (i.e. SR20 in an RX-7 or LS1 in a 240sx), we've done it.

Np, will post them up in the correct place once I find it!

Btw had a look at what others have done, for there installs, mine has no cutting to the bulkhead and uses a std unmodified 1989 corvette sump (pan), tho the S13 subframe is sectioned and dropped 2" to accomodate the pan.

I've used a Driftworks outer track rod end conversion to alter the steering arms to eliminate the bump steer.

The only problem is the gearing, I've got a stock TH400 but with a 2900rpm B&M torque converter, and the standard back end with Vlsd ( on its last legs!) 3.9:1 ratio good on the strip, very silly on the road.

Very silly indeed... is there links for videos on the strip?well i hope the roads in... umm, East Renfrewshire are long straight and open. do you have any problems with police in your area driving a car like that? what if any are the emissions laws in your area?

I'm not a big fan of the 6-71, I was thinking about the smaller 174. For up to 383CI it's good for 10 psi depending. But damn if that thing doesn't say Rat Rod. Very well done man...

With those gears and I'd venture to guess an instant 400 ft lbs of torque it's basically undriveable huh? I don't think silly sums it up...lol. If you can get that whore to hook up and not eat drive train components you could easily see 9's in the 1320.

So...you used the stock pan and dropped the subframe 2"? I suppose with as much as that motorset weighs you're not concerned with steering anyway. How is the daily driving as far as suspension and handling goes?
