200sx SR20DE engine question...

I just noticed that the 1995 200sx has a SR20DE engine in it.....is that the same at the SR20DET Silvia egine without the turbo???

no its not the 'same'.....its similar, yes...but it does have different parts, different compression, etc.

No, it's not the same engine, do a search for SR20DE, there's a list of all the differences, it's not just a SR20DET without a turbo, it's a transversely mounted FWD engine with higher compression and no oil squirters among other things. Enjoy your day!

unless your talking about the european 200sx then it's almost the same motor without a turbo

There are a lot of little differences that become big differences if you wanna make big power.

If your just a street tuner in the making they don't add up to a whole lot.
