The gti-r isn't that much different from the other det's. You just need to swap out the injector plugs (splice the ones from the gtir harness on to your se-r harness), and I believe the tps is backwards (so swap the outer 2 wires on the tps plug). Use your distributor from the se-r. Use the se-r trans (which you have to on almost all of the det's anyways). Use the se-r passenger side mount/bracket. Then get a jwt tuned ecu for the gtir 444cc injectors, turbo, and whatever maf you want (z32 n62, or maxima n60 are preferable, z32 being the bigger of the two). What was so hard about that??
The gtir has lower compression due to the different head design, gtir is also stronger, due to the larger head bolts, and larger main cap bolts than the other det's. Gtir also has individual throttle bodies, and mechanical valvetrain, unlike the hydraulic valvetrain in the other det's.
