Everything except the GTi-R is plug-and-play. Just get in touch with a good company like Soko motors (soko.com) and they'll send you everything you need for a decent price.

GTi-R swaps are a pain, I wouldn't suggest trying it unless you've got deep pockets and lots of time to have your car down.

how so? i know the GTiR has an awd transmission so u would have to use a usdm one, but is it the electronics or something, i figure u could still use the engine, although it has a lower compression of like 8.3:1 instead of the 8.5:1 like the bluebird has to compensate for the bigger turbo?

i was thinking of doing the GTiR swap but how much more is involved in the process?

The harness is a whole big mess with a GTi-R swap. It's been discussed a couple of times, do a search of the Sentra and transverse SR sections.

The gti-r isn't that much different from the other det's. You just need to swap out the injector plugs (splice the ones from the gtir harness on to your se-r harness), and I believe the tps is backwards (so swap the outer 2 wires on the tps plug). Use your distributor from the se-r. Use the se-r trans (which you have to on almost all of the det's anyways). Use the se-r passenger side mount/bracket. Then get a jwt tuned ecu for the gtir 444cc injectors, turbo, and whatever maf you want (z32 n62, or maxima n60 are preferable, z32 being the bigger of the two). What was so hard about that??

The gtir has lower compression due to the different head design, gtir is also stronger, due to the larger head bolts, and larger main cap bolts than the other det's. Gtir also has individual throttle bodies, and mechanical valvetrain, unlike the hydraulic valvetrain in the other det's.

And on an after thought - add in the resistors that jwt provides if you go with low impedance ijectors, otherwise drop in a set of msd 50lb high impedance injectors and you would be good to go (just use the bosch injector style clips for the msd's on your se-r harness, also available from jwt)
