heh...damn kids.

the S12 will house most motors that are commonly swapped in the S13.

most common tend to be the SR20 or the CA18DET

swapping a motor in one isn't too difficult.

HOWEVER you do get limited in the suspension to an extent. The front end will accept S13 coilovers with a little work and a "frankenstein" set up of parts from the S13 and 14 front ends. The rear end is an entirely different beast as it uses a semi trailing arm IRS set up. there ARE a few coil over options for it but you can't get as many adjustments from the set up. There have a been a few owners that have grafted the S13 rear subframe into their cars however.

if you're looking for a limited slip dif, you're in luck because that particular model uses the R200 rearend that you'll find in just about anything rwd that nissan has built since 1985

u sure its an 87?

mark II's were 87 and 88 and only came w the VG or CA20 turd motor

if i could go back 7 months i wouldnt have bought mine

still sitting, ran outta time for something that should have been so simple.

best advice? if they give it to you go for it.

if you like fabbing stuff up

if thats not really your scene; just get an s13 and order just about anything to take the car in any direction you choose.

You've got an S12? Do you have a motor? Pick a motor and go from there. Chances are, it can go in.

You are definitely in the wrong section buddy!

Nobody in here knows anything about our cars. I always just post in Gen Chat since NICO has forgotten this car exists...

It could be a Canadian model. They still offered the turbo 1.8 SOHC up there in 87.
