Just as the title say, it won't start, or even make a sound. No clicking, no attempting to start...nothing. The battery seems good.

The weird part is that sometimes it will start with no problem, no hesitation whatsoever. Then sometimes it won't start at all.

A friend of mine suggests that it might be the momentary switch that inside the key hole that is responsible for sending the signal to the starter. What do you guys think?

Check your battery terminals for corrosion, and clean them anyway. This happens to my SR periodically, a little cleaning and voila.

Yeah, I actually replaced the terminals and still nothing. It might have to do something with the Clifford Alarm that's on the car. It's behaving just like when the alarm is activated.

I suppose that's a good place to start (alarm).

If its auto, make sure that the selcector is all the way in Park. Sometimes mine does it and I have to push the selector forward a bit and then it'll start.

Check the body ground if that is loose it will start when it gets a good enough ground and other times do absolutely nothing. It's usually coming off of the transmission either on one of the diff bolts or on the top of the transmission. If there's nothing there you can find looking around the fender area of the driver side under the hood.

Thanks, it turned out to be the starter. I had my mechanic fix it.
