I'm starting to think I've got a problem.. but I'm not that experienced with cars and need some help.

about 2 weeks ago my clutch-pedal resistance went from being hard to push down to a "normal"-ish resistance.. (i could push it down without much effort, but its not like it would fall to the floor.. i guess a kink in the cable or something got untwisted)

now, the clutch pedal practically falls about an inch when I push on it (but it will come back up so there is a little resistance) before it starts engaging like normal.

could it be my clutch cable is getting ready to break? it doesnt look like it from under the hood.. but then again, im not really an expert at this stuff..

Normally the cable will become really stiff before it breaks. You may just need to adjust the clutch cable.
