I am coming up on 200k and have changed the oil regularly, replaced all belts, and have changed the valve cover gaskets and spark plugs.

I am planning to have a transmission flush done, but is there any other things i might want to consider?

Damicci!

Congratulations on making that mile (!) stone! Love my own Qs and M30!

Look! I am CONSIDERING buying a winter home down south of you in Green Valley. Any thoughts on this? My experience with that area is over in Sierra Vista (military types, you know, with Ft H there!) Present winter home is in coastal South Carolina, and not that nice a place any more! Summer home isup near Silver City, NM, at about 7000'.

BTW, if I do this, there will be another 2 Qs in Tucson area! Email me with your thoughts @ jpironsironsjp@yahoo. Thanks! John

Sorry, Heath! Just not the place I grew up in, any more! Gotta speak NYese to be understood! Geechee/ gullah no longer spoken!

Motor mounts are probably trashed. Are you getting any vibration at 2250rpm?

Tucson has good real estate but that has nothing to do with this thread.

No vibrations at all, only at about 70mph but I am sure that is balancing and tires. Rev the motor and motor barely moves.

~70 mph in D and ~50 mph in 3 is indicative of a failed 3rd motor (trnasmission) mount.

That's good to hear I was worried that it could be a damaged drive shaft as I have read can cause that too, but the MPH the vibrations occur at were different.

Good info.

Hey, i have over 280k miles on my 95 q45, yeah i know a lot miles. I am getting a little vibration at low rpm and am thinking about changing the motor mounts. I am really worried about my MAF, i think that thing is on its last leg.

On the other hand, i have rebuilt the transmission, replaced sparks, replaced a few rotors, new radiator, ........dang, i have done a lot to the car, but i love my q, and it treats me good.
