I've heard that Nissan may be redesigning the XTerra for 2009. Has anyone heard what the changes might be?

Are you sure your not thinking about the pathfinder? I'm pretty sure it's getting redesigned for '09

The answer is 0!!

We had one weird failure of an 08. The bolts from the front driveshaft came out of the T-case. The drive shaft spun & wacked a chunk of aluminum out of the bell housing.

Are those black plastic bubbles on the roof for lights and it just doesn't have that option or are they lights themselves and I just couldn't tell ?

Yes those are jeep liberty style lights up top. They had the covers off once, but I didn't have my camera at that time.
