We've got some time.

As for location... I really think we should be somewhere in the Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay triangle.

So i'm thinking the area around like.. West Bend to Columbus to Green Lake to Fondy to Kohler/Sheboygan,

Heck, if we wanted to target for the Chicago crew as wellvand pick Lake Geneva or something south of Milwaukee.. that's ok too.

But I'm game for pretty much anything the group decides.
I like the Lake Geneva area alot due to some fun roads in the area, a small town and it's close to me......but the problem with that is in the summer on weekends the parks are PACKED around there. and i can't think of many parks that have parking for 30+ cars in seperate areas.....but i'll look into it.

Seth - Drop me a Email - [email protected] with your number i'll give ya a call.

Nag would be a great park to have a meet at, Lot's of space and the lake is right there too. It's Also easy to get to with hotels and stuff within a two minute drive.I'd definitely be there if it was in metro Milwaukee area.

most people are close to the milwaukee area so i think the biggest turn out was to keep it around there, if people from further wanna come they can but just thinking about greatest chance for bigger turn out.

eh

we had the meet in Fon du lac last year and it I think it was a good time. i'd think there were 50+ cars that showed up.

Honestly everyone here is a car enthusiast and i don't see a problem driving a car an hour or two to meet up and look at other cars...but maybe thats just me?

ya, id be down for another hwy cruise as well.

but for this years meet we should reconsider nagawaukee park in delafield. I suggested it last year and im bringing it up again.

It just seems like the perfect place. and I know of some awesome cruising roads in the area.

I haven't been on here in real long time. Had a decently modded Altima coupe but ditched it to mod a Z. If you guys ever get anything going, I'll be checking in.

I would be in if it was a Sunday. Everyone seems to set up meets on Saturdays which is impossible for me

It should be in Sheboygan....theres Blue Harbor Resort....i dont know if we can use their parking area but I can ask. Theres also another area by the lake that we might be able to use.

Theres also the Parnell Tower in Cascade....its in a really secluded area but the drive there is really cool and theres a sweet tower there which i havent been too in years.

And theres also Columbia Park in Calumet. Theres also a huge steel tower there and looks to be a decent amount of parking.

The meet you guys got together last year was pretty centralized. The good part about having it somewhere in Milwaukee would be for the guys in the chicago area to come up. Still doesn't seem like the drive to get everyone together is really there yet.

It's always hard to balance the location with the target audience.

If we were aiming for a midwest or a Wisconsin/Illinois meet, then I agree, somewhere around Milwaukee or south of there would be great.

If we were doing only Wisconsin as our target, then I think north of Milwaukee is better.

If our only goal was to get the highest attendance possible.. I guess we'd have to do it in Chicago directly. But, I don't think that's the goal.

If location really is an issue.. perhaps we could do a rotation. We did Fond Du Lac last year. Perhaps we do Milwaukee this year. Madison next year, etc...

My only arguement for not having it in Milwaukee is the cops. With hyw100 and the street race crack down, it makes it really hard to have a car meet anywhere. They target anyone with a nice car with the littlest tickets. Now I haven't been in the scene in a few years since I got rid of my turbo tC, just miss the tuning community.

Same thing is happening everywhere, not just Milwaukee. Here in Madison too.
