Just bought a 2009 Nissan Versa 1.8s Hatchback.

37 in Atlanta, GA.

Six speed with AC and CD. No other frils. No power door locks or powered windows.

Slowly breaking it in.

I want to do the following to it to make it feel better. When I drove it today, it felt like the rental car I had a couple months ago, which was also a Versa.

I don't know if my wife will allow me to do these things... I can only hope.

Still looking for a nice looking rim. My guess is only black rims will look good on my brilliant silver.

I really wanted 14s, but 15s would be OK too.

Forgot to mention that I am really picky about the rims.

I do not like convex rims. I like flat faced with a lip or concaves that go to the lip of the rim.

I am still looking.

So far, the best looking rims are fins or spokes.

Still looking for a good exhaust system or just muffler. Not really for horse power gain, just for sound.

I have decided on Eibach springs. Now I have to look for a good price for them. I am seeing $200 as the lowest so far.

NODES, just checked out your pictures. The Versa looks great! Nice rims too. They really match the color and style.

Thanks, the rims are now gone. They were too heavy for the car and it really effected the cars overall performance. They did suit the car so well it seemed as if they where meant to be.

I wonder if anyone makes a 15" rim that looks like the stocks on the GT-R. I like the stock GT-R rims a lot.

they look like the stock rims on the Infiniti G35's. i looked at a lot of rims but I do not recall any that looked like those in any size.

I didn't think there was many people out there like myself that got a 1.8s stock without the power option and without an automatic transmission! It seems to most people I've talked to the power "option" in a new car isn't an "option" anymore it something they have to have as an automatic transmission.

At $13,200 out the door, they can keep their auto door locks and auto windows... and I would rather drive a stick shift anyways. hehehe

I finally saw a grill, side skirts, rear bumper cover and front lip I liked. It is part of a kit called the Octane-2.

This list is for the Fox Marketing Versa years ago. Most of the parts were one-off items for a SEMA show years ago. The car was dismantled after the show and the pieces sold off.

Those rims are similar to the ones I have now which is my avatar. They are very lightweight and the price is very good for them. 15-16 should be very light.

Yes, the Versa list is from that Fox Marketing one in 2006 or 2007. It is the one in Modified magazine around that same time.

I took this photo today to see what it would look like with 20" rims:

Was taken with my first gen iPhone, so sorry for the crap quality. I will retake it when I get a chance.

Just in case someone did not read the entire thread, the rims are just leaning on the side of the car and are not mounted.

riding on 20's is going to be a harsh ride, which your wife may not approve in the long run = a divorce

Yeah, I really want 14s. The 20s was a joke.

I would personally go with a set of 16's.

The 14's are way too small for the cars cosmetic stance.

During lunch, I pulled up next to my co-worker's Versa SL. I smoked him.

Just got a set of new seat covers.

So, the original seat covers are coming off. Pictures to come after and during the installation.

My Versa has 2300 miles on it, so the seat covers look new. The back seat covers were never sat on. The passenger side seat covers hardly got any use.

$180.

Pick these up in Norcross, GA.
What kind of seat covers did you buy?
Post up pics :D

I will post images up. I will post them in the interior section though. I will provide other details about them too. ;)
