Howdy NICO club members. I recently purchased a 2009 Nissan Versa S HB and was thinking of installing a cold air intake but was unable to find one for the 2009. I was able to find one for the 2007 but not being much of a car guy I didn't want to get it only to find out it wouldn't fit due to possible engine bay changes. Can someone tell me whether I can safely install the 2007 Fujita CAI on the 09 or should I continue searching for an 09 specific model.

I recently purchased the Fujita CAI for my 09 Versa HB and I love it. It fits great and the installation was fairly straightforward.

I got mine from http://www.versaspeed.com

He has a great deal on the Fujita, I'd definitely recommend it

I'm on the AEM wagon. The install was a piece of cake and it's C.A.R.B. exempt. I've got the sticker and paperwork to prove it.

I think C.A.R.B has something to do with California emissions. I am thinking of putting on a CAI and was wondering about warranty as well?

CARB is CA only, no one else needs to worry about that.

CAI should not affect warranty, unless you screw something up and it kills the engine. Then if they can blame you somehow, they will.

For the money, Fujita through Versaspeed.com is the best, increased performance should be almost exactly the same between the different ones, so go for the cheaper option.
