here in Australia we have but two models of Murano, the high spec model has a seat setting choice that will put the seat in it's most rearward position to assist in getting out of the vehicle, however mine has stopped operating at all & I can no longer set a driving position automatically........at first Nissan Australia told the dealer that once the driving positions are set the seat no longer returns to it's most rearward position......I find this hard to believe but in order to confirm this I saked the dealer to delete the set driving positions and it did not fix the problem, the dealer believes it is a 'setting' hassle rather than a machanical fault, at this stage we are waiting for more info from Nissan...............has anyone else had a similar problem ?

US LE Model, there is an option that allows the seat to go to full back position and the steering wheel to go full in, and up to ease entry and exit (Atutomatic Driver Positioner system). I found that this is part of the comfort menu. Mine works very well.

According to the manual, this Driver Positioner system needs to be reset if the battery cable is disconneted. I found referece on page 3-30 in my manual (on-line PDF version)

I have a seperate problem with my seat memeory, but will address with dealer when I go in for service.

Thanks for the response.....my manual makes the same reference, as the seat can be moved 'manually' I'm beginning to believe it may be more a 'hardware' problem than a 'setting' problem............

I am 6'4" so I want the seat in the full aft position all the time. My LE keeps moving the seat a little bit each time I get in and now there seems to be a little slack in the seat that I can feel when stopping, not good.

Problem solved !! when my Murano was delivered I was informed of a fault with the Key Port, this presented itself as the intelligent key not being gripped by the Port & falling to the floor sometimes but the 'Comfort Settings' worked ok..........after a week the seat stopped returning to the most rearward position to assist in getting out of the vehicle.....the new Key Port was fitted today & hey Presto everything now works as it should !Hopefully I will experience no more problems and get on with enjoying my new vehicle !
