2009 SE-R Spec V Code P1421?

Hello,

I have an 09 Spec V, 4300km on it and two days ago my service engine light came on. I checked it on a cheapy code reader I have and it came up with p1421 unspecified code.

Any idea what p1421 is for this car?

This is taken from a different website on a Nissan Quest:

Code P1421 means cold start control problems. Possible cause ..

1 Lack intake air volume2 fuel injector3 ECM

Car is under warranty, call the dealer and let them figure it out.

Turns out it was just some minor cold start air flow problem. They did something with the idle or some such, cleared it right up.

Your cheapie scanner picked up the correct code. Later down the road when your car is no longer under warranty, it's gonna save you a ton of $$$$$...... happy to hear your car is working well now.

I don't know if this problem still persists, but the way I fixed my mom's 2009 Nissan Versa was by putting tape on the air filter box to make sure when installed it had a snug fit. Seems to me it was a matter of air suction pressure going from high to low if the air filter didn't latch on right.

Anywho... thought I would share this before anyone else spent money on expensive parts.
