Yep, the tradeoff for the higher boiling point is that the esters in DOT4 are even more hygrophilic (moisture-loving) than glycol. The difference isn't great, the 20% cited by AutoZone sounds about right. Keep in mind that with brake fluid, time means much more than miles, more like anti-freeze than motor oil. Climate also has a huge effect, a Florida car will need much more frequent changes than one in Arizona.
