Yes, it's that time of year again and I figured I would keep the fun going by hearing everyone's 2009 New Year's Resolutions for their RB Car/Project/

For last year's resolutions (for reference)... zerothread?id=303706

How it works, let everyone know what you plan on doing over the course of 12 months:

What Mods do you plan on buying / installing?

What type of Build do you plan?

What time do you want to run? track related?

Track times, events, magazine spots, RBBA, 12 months on jack stands?

And any other car related goals for this year.

As well, did you meet/keep your goals from last year?

Then we can all look back a year from now and see what we've accomplished.

New intercooler plumbing, top feed injectors and setting up an E85 fuel system.

Goals? I don't have any. I just want to make this setup run as well as it possibly can. I would LOVE to see deep deep 12s or high 11s.

BTW; Maybe Ill get around to that VNT holset I am getting from Alvin..

winter/spring mods, before race season starts, i have most of it:

install the t3/to4e, maybe custom lines650cc injnew dyno tuneadd another electric fanclean up engine bay wiring/paint valve covers

not rb but for my car:LSDinstall my Advans + new tires (drag radials in the R)Q45 F caliper/rotor upgradenew stock s13 calipers (mine leak a lil currently)SS F+R brake linesinstall my uncracked dashlowering springs+strutsinstall/paint pig lipside skirts

theres a big annual import show here in june every year that i might be entering this year. no goals on winning or anything, just want it to be nice enough to show off

power goal is 400whp pump gas, im hoping anyways.i ran 13.2@108 last season, 265 whp, pump gas 90 octacne, no lsd only 2.0 60ft. i figure if the lsd and new tires can get me 1.8 60s or better, and with around 400whp 11's shouldnt be out of the question.....

im hoping to get this all done by end of may or june. after that im not sure which direction i will go with the car. i might calm down on spending on my car if i get my 11s.

And any other car related goals for this year.not to crash hahaget my backup built so i can retire this onescore a point in FD.

my goal for the next 12 months? not spend a dime on my S14, and attempt to keep it on the road. instead, im gonna put coilovers and wheels on my E30.

although, thinking about it. i'll prob try to snag a set of wheels off a mustang or something. some 17x10's or something. something dirt cheap. ditch the VSXX's and drive the car as often as possible.

well i missed out on this last year since i had not posted yet...

anyway here is the plan..

to start with i am reading alot on tuning over the winter break from school so when the spring semester starts up the end of January i can get the S10 on the dyno for tuning.

new parts:wideband O2new steel braided oil feed and return linesAutometer gauge set - Cobalt seriesQA1 coil overs for the front - aiming for 7-8" drop in the front (currently 6")GM 10 bolt rear end and QA1 coil overs and 4 link for the rear

Since i need to upgrade my suspension and rear end before i make some good hp numbers i am shooting for 300-350 once i get it tuned - i think that is reasonable with the T3To4e - as for track times i dont know what to expect since i have never run my truck yet

i know this is a lot to accomplish but im going to do my best - but i would be happy if all i managed to do was get it tuned so i can drive it around all summer

my plans are to change the turbo...either bullseye S258/S360 or a holset unit, new tune, and fix my car from the wreck...small stuff includes a new shift knob, painting the wheels, high temp paint on the dp and manifold. Would love to see close to 500whp or more, but only time will tell...and a 125+ trap would be pretty sexy as well

Cory's New Year Resolution is getting my car to run/drive great, and be able to drive her all summer, without blowing anymore turbos or motors.

Not really RB related so much as chassis related. But I really gotta get a bar/cage put in and get the car stripped/painted.

As for the RB:- Bare minimum: Upsize the fuel system a little for higher boost on E85.- Would like to do: Cams/Gears, maybe downsize the turbo a bit to a BW S362(ish) or 4088r.

And to all, good luck with all the winter mods. Take pics and post them up to give us all some motivation!

Plans for this year for my rb20 are to push it as far as i can. Got a vortech v4 sc waitin to go on it as soon as the block gets back from the machine shop and all my parts come in. As for the goals im not sure yet i just want to see just how mean i can make it and still have it streetable and somewhat reliable. i think the head is gonna be my limiting factor but i got plans for that too .

I don't have much along the lines of RB mods because last year was huge.

RB Related:Stronger transmission mountFront mount isolatorsValve cover fittings/lines =>SSA/C fittings and linesCoil packs?

Non-RB related:Z32 front calipersZ32 front rotorsSS brake linesBrake proportioning valveBrake line-lockRear tiresFender rolling

Track goals: want to hit the strip next year and see what it'll run. I'm hoping for low 12's on street tires.

Events:2009 Omaha Ice Cream CruiseA couple of Iowa car shows2009 MidCoast Road RallyAnother Steve Kan tuning session?

Did I meet last year's goals?Yes because my only goal was not to break anything.
