2009 pathfinder factory radio sucks

i upraded the speakers already. but i need bass. i was thinking about kenwoods powered sub underneath my driver seat . any other ideas? i have an 08 armada with bose system and love it, just couldn't find a pathinder with bose system for the right price. to nice of a vehicle to have a crapy radio.

Bass is omni-directional, so you could put your sub anywhere. I would think under the driver's seat is too close and it would over power the rest of the system.

Would the sound matter to others in the PF or is the driver the only one that matters. I would think there would be a better location for the powered sub more towards the back, than right under the front seat.

Did you replace the HU as well, or just the speakers? I still think BOSE is given too much credit on their car audio systems. I don't like the one in our '04 PF.

i just replaced the speakers with alpines, i want to keep the hu. I want rich sound not to much bass.
