2009 OCS problem

OCS in our car is non-functional (dealer checked codes)-$1800 for new passenger seat cushion to repair. Can the air bag computer be programmed to turn the passenger air bag to be on at all times? Or has anyone tried the emulator that replaces the OCS sensor and tricks the car into thinking the seat is occupied? Stupid system where the OCS sensor can not be replaced without the entire seat cushion.

You could check junk yards and get a whole passenger seat.

I tried that. Car has a grey interior and they do not seem to exist around here. I reset the warning lights on 2-13 and they have not returned-fixed itself??
