I have been here for a while but I never did introduce myself. My name is Greg and I am 31 years old with 2 children. They are both boys ages 7 and 10. I purchased this car because of fuel economy and the most interior space in it's class IMO.

I currently have 67,000 miles on this vehicle. My boys live 3 hours away and I am a Mortgage Loan Officer by day. I travel quite a bit obviously.

I have not done much to my Versa. Just a few visual changes. Stock for the most part. I have done almost all of my own repairs and maintainence all my life. Sometimes I choose to pay someone instead.

Here is the short list of what I have done:

Replaced Hub Caps
Tinted rear and back windows 2.5%
Replaced all 4 door speakers with Polk Momo 6.5's
Kenwood Mono Amp and 12" subs
Head unit Pioneer DEH4000UB
Fog Lights

I've never seen one in that colour. Lookin good!
I also love the huge interior for me 6ft1, and 3 kids and wife.
The minivan doesn't move much any more!
MPG rocks.
Did well with 01sentra so this car was an easy decision.
I replaced front 6.5s with Sony Xplod 4ways.
Pioneer 2ways in garage will go in rear, along with 10" Pioneer sub and Alpine 3528S amp. :chuckle:
Sure would like two 12s, but today I brought home $600 worth of ceramic tile in hatch...
Is your Pioneer head unit a dvd flipup?
Need one for the kids you know...
How's your mpg?
What is the red toggle for, beside the mirror switch? :inout:

Clean sedan. Do you have any plans for wheels? Some white wheels would look great on there. :yesnod

I am assuming the red toggle is for his fog lights.

08versailles: That is the blueberry colour (or how it is known in Canada). It was only offered for a few years, and is no longer a colour available here.

We like taking my car out too as a family, but sometimes with 5 adults and two dogs, I'd rather take Chuckie. It gets a bit squished in the back with 3 adults and 2 dogs. And I don't like getting my car dirty (inside or out) so if we know we are going somewhere where we will be tracking dirt w/ us, we take Chuckie.

No offence but 1.8 with manual windows and locks? I thought that was just the 1.6.

Nope, the 1.8 S models can have manual windows and locks! Some of the HB owners have this. If you wanted power windows/door locks you had to add on a package to the S model.

But he has power windows (according to his interior picture).

Nope no plans for rims. I just put 60,000 mile tires on it.

The head unit is not a dvd flip up. Just plays music. But is has a front aux plug and usb is in the back. My usb flash drive is in the cubby.

The toggle switch is for my fog lights.

MPG's range from 29 to 36. It depends on where I am driving. I always use premium gas. I always change the air filter before 15,000. I did hit 42 once. I did a lot of putting it in neutral and coasting though.

It is a 1.8 S model I purchased when the 1.6 was not in production yet here in the USA. I bought this car when the 2009 models just started rolling out on the lot. It does have power windows and power locks. Before the 1.6 base model was introduced the S model did not have the S logo on the trunk like they do now.

For right now I use a portable DVD player. This way I can listen to my radio and the kids can put on a set of headphones to watch their movies. But, they rarely do. They play with their DSI's more. I can put an anti slip pad on the dash and put the portable up there then plug the aux cord into the radio and the headphone jack for surround sound.

I am just about visually done with this car. I may paint the rims the same color as the car to kind of accent the caps and add a spoiler.

Cool, I see what you're saying.

They must have stated putting the S on the 1.8 to make them different from the 1.6. :)

Yeah, you are right. The one I bought was the base model until they decided to put the 1.6 into production. There are other ways to tell though. Like unpainted or undipped mirrors, door handles, and trunk accent. At least this could be said in the USA.
