My cruise on/off button stopped working. I had to buy a new cruise switch. I want to install it myself. My question is does anyone know how to remove the cruise switch? It is the silver part on the sterring wheel that has the cruise buttons are a part of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It appears that along with removing the steering wheel, you'll have to remove the airbag to get to the switch.

How did you determine the problem is the switch?

some type of oil from a bed bath and beyond air freshener dripped into the on/off switch and sealed it up, sealed it up so tight when I try and engage the cruise it honks the horn.

:picard: Shocking to find that liquids and electronics don't mix. Sounds like you should let a professional handle this repair.
