2009 Nissan Maxima....possessed???

So I have a 2009 Maxima and I am completely stumped by this one. On 2 occassions in the last 4 years this has happened. I park the car in the garage where is it pitch black dark. I open the door to garage and the interior light of the car is on and then when I turn on the garage light the light goes off. Granted, this is something I do multiple times troughout the day and its only happened 2 times in the thousands of times I enter the garage.

Is this a feature of the car I don't know about? Do I need a priest and some holy water? Seriously, can anyone explain this to me?

Honestly... you got me there. The only thing I would start looking at are fuses/relays. If something in sequence is bad it could cause something strange like this, but when you mention it has only happened twice in four years, I'm almost inclined to agree with your "possessed" theory. haha

Maybe someone else would chime in here with some experience. I have never seen anything like this.

Thanks. I will check there. I would say it has happened more like 4 to 5 times, but it's kind of odd in an unsettling way. I was hoping someone here has seen or heard of this before.
