Post

I have a 2009 nissan altima coupe NON bose system

I just recently bought a new faceplate, original navigation head unit..... the 15amp keeps blowing the moment I connect the radio antenna to the navigation head unit....

It does not happen when I reinstall the original radio head unit and everything works just fine.......

I also have a aftermarket amp, speakers, grom usb converter, that all work fine with the original radio head.

Does the navigation unit take more power? I dont want to melt any wires and start a fire by upping it to a bigger amp...... suggestions?

so i know this post is really old but I'm considering getting the oem nav unit for my 2010 altima coupe, how did you get the unit installed? did you do it yourself or have it installed and for how much. Also i do have the bose system and was wondering if you know if it is plug and play to switch to the nav. Any help would be great, thanks.
