I was doing research and scrapped the idea of getting a turbo. I also am getting rims, tints, a body kit, and I'm looking for some performance upgrades any ideas or suggestions?

Always a good idea to do the cosmetic t hings first. Never bad to have a real nice looking ride that isn't a plain jane coupe like the rest.

As for performance... I'd recommend getting an exhaust first for that will free up some power due to the restrictive stock exhaust... The Stillen header is another good bang for your buck item in terms of upping the ponies.

Ranga do you know if the Stillen Header will cause any problems down the road with the CVT?

I have the cvt too but I doubt the headers will cause problems because they are only freeing up the air flow and its not really adding any psi to effect the pullies and I was also looking at a weapon r secret weapon intake since they dnt make a true cold air intake for the 2.5 on the 2009 a/c any feed back on intakes?

They are more for pure hp gain rather than that surge of torque you'd feel with boosting so you'd be fine.

Barely noticeable hp gain but you can't expect much from just those 2. And arite I'm probably gonna grab the header by the end of the year then eventually a tune.

Haven't used a Bullydog or anything yet. Planning on a tune after I get the header.

both bully dog & stillen header are your main performance parts, i didn't notice anything after my intake/exhaust but the header u feel a nice gain & the tuner almost the same gain on top of that. i also have cvt & have had 0 problems with it after these mods, still have yet to track it to see the difference in times tho
