I wanted to know if some else had experienced a water leak under the passenger seat for the Nissan 370z. The carpet under the passenger seat is completly wet and I didn't left the window down. The driver seat area was fine, I didn't notice any water accumulated in the carpet. Any feedback will be greatly appreceated.

Very strange. I will feel under my passenger seat tonight when I get home. Haven't noticed any musty smell or anything though.

Are you sure it is pure water? Did you smell it?

Just to let you know that is been raining a lot this past days here where I live. However, I'm 100% sure that I haven't let the window down. I didn't notice any smell. I found out the wet carpet while looking for a card under the passenger seat. It was really wet. Yes, I'm sure is water since I smell it to make sure it wasn't oil or gas. I'm sure is water, expecially when I know that is been raining hard this week. I did online research and I saw that some car has this defect from the manufacture,...but I could now find this deffect for our 370z. My wife's car did had the same problem, Subaru Forester, water accumulated under the passenger seat. This is crazy. anyway, let me know if you find out something. I'm doing research before I take it to the dealer.

A couple of things I have Googled across say that there is a hose on that side for the condensation to leak from the a/c?

Maybe check and see if there is a hose and it isn't where it is supposed to be.

I'm gonna check that out. This is the last thing I would want is mildewy carpet. :nono:

If you can, jack up both of your vehicles and find the rubber hose sticking out of the passenger side of the firewall somewhere. If you have an air compressor get a blow gun and give it a blast. It's pretty common for thr a/c drain to clog up and leak water into the passenger side floor.

If that doesn't help you could pull the carpet back and make sure the hose is still connected to the condenser.
Hope this helps a little
