My Versa came with the standard FM/AM/CD radio but no AUX jack for MP3 player. Is there anyway I can add an AUX jack without having to replace my current radio/cd? Also does anyone know if nissan insalls special ipod systems without replacing my standard radio? I tried using the FM transmitter route but was not happy with the quality.

Also is every nissan versa XM radio ready? My dealer said it was XM ready but there are no XM settings or buttons on my current radio/dasboard. But it does have this black antenna on top of the car. Did my dealer lie to me or is there a special accessory i must buy for xm to work.

Please let me know and thank you

you have th base single cd radio, nothing can be done that you area asking to it XM can be added but you have to use a stand-alone xm unit that has all the display and station selection functions.

You either need the SL deck that has the aux or an aftermarket deck with aux. And no, you can't add factory XM to it. You can't add iPod playback either. The black antenna is your local radio antenna. The dealer did lie to you.

If this is for an iPod, then have a look at http://www.crutchfield.com/p_1...p=120 . It should work. I've been thinking of getting one myself.
