2009 NICOFEST Nashville: Caravan to NICOFest Nashville

Looks like we (the nsr crew) are going to be coming down from Ohio for Nashville 09....who all is heading that way and wants to meet up and caravan? We had a big caravan to Carlisle 2 years ago and it was an absolute blast.

Hey ill tag along on a cruise. I just moved from Cali to knoxville. Possibly buyin a 260z tommarow, and supposed to get my hatch soon too. But my ca18 needs some work. So I might rollin the 260.

Hey maverick, you can roll with me. I live in knoxville, an am definately going. Do you by chance work on magnolia. I've seen a dark grey hatch with an exhaust on magnolia, right befor it makes that split near the freeway.???? In east knox....

I worked at NAPA right before it split to Ashville Hwy and Rutledge Pike. I have since moved to the other end of Hagnolia.. to the Roy E Mullins building. Which is really our shop/home base. I am an HVAC Tech for Knox County Schools now.

But yes, that was my car if it was parked at either of those two places.

EDIT: Not to jack the thread.. But where the hell have you guys been? I wasn't aware of anyone on here from Knoxville.. I want to see your CA18 Hatch.. I haven't experienced that motor yet.

Hey, mav, did you know a mechanic named larry who works out of his home, across the st. From napa? I live right across from that napa. I too wanna know where everybody in knoxville is. Lets roll to nashville deep.

The ca18 hatch is on its way as well as the stock coupe, but my ca needs work. Running rich and whatnot, so got to work on it. And hopefully I can so I can take it with me, and my gf and my daughter can roll in the coupe.

Can't wait for this!!! Last year my buddies from texas were gonna drive out there to nashville. When I read bout the event last year, heard it was humid as heck.

Haha.. Holy crap do I know Larry.. He's good friends with the Manager of that NAPA so he is in there all the time. That man could fix anything, it's ridiculous. Let me know when the cars get here and if you need it I will lend a hand working on the CA. Don't know much about that one but it can't be too bad.

I don't live too far away from there. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes. I live off Broadway by i640. Behind K-Mart/Food City/Office Depot pretty much.

That is one HELL of a boring drive.. I drove from Nashville to Memphis once and I don't think I would enjoy doing it again.. Though it may be a lot more fun in something besides a Conversion Van...

Couple years ago I was stranded in Little Rock due to storms cancelling my flight on a Friday night and them not being able to get me on another flight until the next Monday

Imagine driving from LR, through Memphis and Nashville on my way up to Louisville in a crappy Pontiac Grand Am rental car

No crap, that's knargly. He's fixing my dd right now. Axel snapped on my saturn sc-1. We'll lthe coupe is for sure coming this weekend. I dunno when my hatch is coming, but I'll definately give you a holler. By anychance were you in old city a week ago or so? I saw a nixce z32 in the parking lot across from the one you have to pay for near the cereal bar or whatever. We definately have to roll to this and get more nissans.

I'd rather drive through the boring drive, then like what I did when I came to knox the first time. I took the greyhound wich was a 2.5 day affair. And wow, was it boring. Hahahaha.

Any word from kckouki, and all the others who live in knox county? Were all you guys at? Lets roll.

Yeah, Riding is definitely more suck than driving it is. Wasn't me, My z32 is currently awaiting it's interior and EFI Harness transplant, along with the 120k kit. Damn I need more time... 24hrs in a day just isn't enough!

I haven't heard from many others around here..I have only met a few of the locals from this board. kckouki is a powell inhabitant if I remember correctly. Last I remember he was underage, his ride up there may be pending parents approval.
