Not this year...

I rode out with Bex from Greeneville, so I didn't rent something.

Came *this* close to snagging the 370Z that Avis had, but it was an automatic and the insurance on it was astronomical... Could have been epic.

Next year, something WILL get brutalized. Trust me.

I was leaning on greg to get the 370, I thought he was going to pick it up at one point but it never happened... Damn insurance garbage... insurance is for people who dont know how to drive (just kidding guys, dont go do something silly!)

I'd have been SO screwed if I'd have had to make a claim on that car.

$35K car... Keep in mind I have 2 prior claims on my insurance for damage to rentals... Yeah, they'd be looking at me funny for sure.

I'm sure we're all going to hear all about it upon their return from Newfoundland and everywhere but as far as I know they found some slightly used tires on Craigslist like an hour away for a REALLY cheap deal and had them swapped onto Torry's wheels.

The poor 1,200 mile G6 I buried in the mud at VIR (and then centerpunched a deer at 80mph with)... and a Lincoln Town Car I kinda used for an "unintended purpose" in Orlando...

Yup, I had the craigslist specials swapped out. Then me and James drove to Newfoundland and found out my front tires were corded as well. We then had them flipped on the rims so the worn side was on the outside for the drive back (no 19" tires in newfoundland...I tired hard to find them). We made it back to Rhode Island where I had overnighted a brand new set from Tirerack to, and had them changed out, then drove back to GA. So if anyone wants some slightly used craigslist special 19" tires, let me know, I still have them
