Bubba, i was car 7 and I got a 1.05, i took a picture of the page to prove it!

There were a few cars that had #s on 2 different pages bc of the different sessions, I was one of them...

Endless thanks to Bubba for running the track, without him things like this wouldnt exist!

seriously, props to bubba for running the track both days, all day.

I'm pumped I was able to manage that 59 second time on my last run, after running consistant 1:01's every time before. Not too shabby for a stock N/A SR20 and crappy sumitomo street tires. This event gave me extra motivation to find the parts so I can hook up powersteering, its not fun having to muscle the steering

Its also great to see people out there trying out motorsports for the first time, hopefully a few people got hooked

Big, big thanks to Joel and all the corner works (even myself ) who made it possible!

I was interested in knowing this, so I calculated it... The averages of the top times listed above is roughly 1:03.

I ran a 1:02 so I'm happy I guess, lol.

I think this happened to me too because I had a 1:00 time early on in the day. I remember James coming over to my car right after the run to tell me this and saw it on the first paper as well.

This was my first ever attempt at autox and I am totally hooked. Every part of the day was awesome. From you guys helping me during tech inspection to James and Joel giving me tips on how to get around the track faster. And then there was the actual driving part which was easily the coolest thing I have ever done in my Evo...legally. Big thank you for such a great time!

Yeah, if you are missing your best time, there is a good chance one of the time sheets managed to hide in the weeds or jump the barbwire fence when the wind took the scoring clipboard.

Nice! Definitely find out about autoX clubs around your area, and try and go to a test and tune event if they have one. You get even more driving tips and learn how do to basic suspension and tire tuning.

EDIT: Read my later post, I don't have a way to send a large group of files.

Hey Bubba. Remember me asking if you wanted those videos. Well I managed to cut out most of the vids with nothing in them and renamed/organized the ones with the fun stuff that I was around for (only Saturday. my ride slept in on Sunday) The videos were takin with a generic 6.0 megapixel camera so there only 640x480 but it's good enough to see whats going on and if you can ignore my lame comments

Here is a list of all the videos I got. I don't know anybodies names so I just put the description of the car in the filenames. Also they were all rather short since I only had 2 gigs of space on my camera.

AutoX 09 STI (odd sound) - heard somebody said his horn was stuck or something.AutoX Silver 350Z hitting a cone.AutoX Blue (new Altima?) pulling his e-brake off the finish lineAutoX Green Q45 (I made sure to record his videos since I saw him run in 2007) I recorded him wiping out into the barrel at the finish.AutoX Red S13 black rims (caught him breaking his front bumper off the finish)AutoX Mustang (I guess this was his traction control acting up off the finish)AutoX Yellow Vette (on one of his finishing runs he almost lost it but recovered)- props man Drift Blue Ranger (I got 4 clips of him sliding around one with him blowing his tire and the other hitting a barrel)Drift R32? Skyline (have a couple clips of him)Drift Grey/Silver S13 coupe (black front rims stock rear)Drift S13 with I'm guessing longer suspension since he was sitting really high.Drift Orange S13 (4 clips of him +him sliding towards the crowd )Drift Teal S14 (gold rear rims)Drift Silver S13 without front bumper (wipe out and broke his exhaust)Drift Of course I got the Yellow/Gold S13 with the Intercooler sticking out from the hood I got him running with a Black S13 and another when the Dodge Diesel was running with him.

I know I kept all the videos of the wipe outs but thats what I call the fun parts. Let me know if you want any of these and I'll e-mail them to you. They range from 3-14 MB and the two clips of the Yellow S13 are around 150.

I'll be sure to show up with my (finally on the road) S13 SR swap if there are any events near York or Quakertown and make a fool out of myself for all you guys to laugh at

I got more then what I'm showing so ask me if I have your car and I'll send it to you if I do.

Bubba, thank you for your time and efforts that you put into the track. We all appreciate it!

Sorry guys. I forgot the limitations of E-mail. my hotmail account won't allow anything more then 10MB and my Gmail account won't allow anything over 25. so that knocks out a couple AutoX videos and all of the Drift ones. Unless anybody knows of another way to get them to you there isn't anything I can do except e-mail each file individually. I'm doing that for whats been requested already.

Hell yeah, I got the quickest time in the golf cart!I wish I had more seat time instead of working/looking for tires for Torry... that 1:09 I ran in Wes' Q was kinda weak, and I know I could have done better. Not bad for the first lap in a car I've never driven though I guess...

My horn was stuck??? lol Not sure what that weird sound is on the video, I didn't hear anything in the car that's for sure.

I also just wanted to say thanks to all the people involved in organizing this. I can only imagine all the work involved and it was a blast. Thanks again!

I thought it was the Saabaru that had the horn on the whole run.

The best I did was a 1:09 in a near stock 240 (I think #42) and a 1:12 in a turbo 240 (#23). Didn't get many very good laps, I was the one that kept spinning out

I was car 0. I finally cracked a 59 at the end of the day Sunday. Woot!

On another note, I just uploaded an article and gallery with over 1000 pics to the NICO homepage. Here it is! http://www.nicoclub.com/nicoev...shtml
