I think this happened to me too because I had a 1:00 time early on in the day. I remember James coming over to my car right after the run to tell me this and saw it on the first paper as well.LongBeachCoupe wrote:There were a few cars that had #s on 2 different pages bc of the different sessions, I was one of them...
This was my first ever attempt at autox and I am totally hooked. Every part of the day was awesome. From you guys helping me during tech inspection to James and Joel giving me tips on how to get around the track faster. And then there was the actual driving part which was easily the coolest thing I have ever done in my Evo...legally. Big thank you for such a great time!Onizuka wrote:seriously, props to bubba for running the track both days, all day.
I'm pumped I was able to manage that 59 second time on my last run, after running consistant 1:01's every time before. Not too shabby for a stock N/A SR20 and crappy sumitomo street tires. This event gave me extra motivation to find the parts so I can hook up powersteering, its not fun having to muscle the steering
Its also great to see people out there trying out motorsports for the first time, hopefully a few people got hooked

Yeah, if you are missing your best time, there is a good chance one of the time sheets managed to hide in the weeds or jump the barbwire fence when the wind took the scoring clipboard.EvoTyler wrote:

Nice! Definitely find out about autoX clubs around your area, and try and go to a test and tune event if they have one. You get even more driving tips and learn how do to basic suspension and tire tuning.EvoTyler wrote:This was my first ever attempt at autox and I am totally hooked. Every part of the day was awesome. I thought it was the Saabaru that had the horn on the whole run.NateyP1 wrote:
