2009 Murano Towing / Water leak question

Hey all,Newbie here. I am looking at a 2009 Murano SL to replace my 06 Ridgeline. My question is.... I need to put in and pull out 2 boats a year at my summer palce on one of the finger lakes in upstate NY. I don't need to tow long distances with them.... just get them in and out at the lake. The boats are 2000 and 2800 lbs. Is the Murano capable enough to put boats in and take them out? Is it watertight? I have to back in far enough where the water will be above the bottom door seams... Any help, advice and or comments is GREATLY appreciated!

First off, welcome to NICOclub!

I know the Murano has no problem at all towing the boats you are looking to pull in and out of the water, as far as how water tight the Murano is, that you should check with a dealer, I have no clue or any experience doing so. Good luck!

Thanks Timmbo... My experience with the dealer is they will tell you what you want to hear rather than real world answers... Hoping someone on the forum has some experience sticking a Murano in the water.... My Ridgeline leaks through the rear door seals... Sux.... Thanks for your input on the towing. A quick question that maybe you have the answer to... Do you know if the factory towing package includes anything other than a hitch and a harness? Perhaps a transmission cooler? I appreciate your response.
