2009 Murano SL rear center seat belt attachment missing?

Hello, first this is my first post on this forum so I'd like to say "Nice to meet you!"

My wife has a 2009 Murano SL. We've had it for about a year. We bought it used. We only have two kids, so the entire time we've had the car, the rear center seat belt has been tucked up in the ceiling.

A couple of days ago, we needed to carry a third person in the back. So I go out to put the center belt in place, but am unable to find the attachment points for it. I folded the seats down and felt around in them as far as I could reach. I seem to be missing both anchor points for the center seat belt. So, my question is, is this normal? Do some models have the center belt in the ceiling but not have anchor points for it? Or am I missing a vital piece of the safty system?

My 2009 has middle seat belts. Did you fold the seat forward when you were searching? That's how I located them!
