Hey guys... I've been following this board for a while now but decided i'll wait for the 09 model so that I can save up some more money ( bigger down payment, pay insurance in one shot, and a few mods here and there ). I've been searcing for some 09 model info but can't seem to find any. I know the 08 was released in May I believe. So shouldnt there be news on the 09 model out by now?

On a side note, I've been researching the Audi A5 but its too damn expensive. beautiful car tho

There is no 2009 info yet. You bet that we'll be the first to get it though

I'm looking into buying the '08 Coupe. The price I'm getting for it is $25,995.00 is that a good price for it since it's been out for almost a year? It's a Altima Coupe 3.5SE (CVT) Winter frost w/ Prem Package.

looks like thats what I'll be doing, and I was wondering the same thing... who know's if i get luck enough with my annual review, and my tax return I will be able to swing for an 08 if I can find the one I want on a lot... I've been planning/saving to order my car, so I was always thinking it might end up being an 09... we'll see... Back to reading the boards...

IMO, Nissan has no reason to release the 2009 early because it's essentially the same as the 08. Releasing them early will only cause people to not buy the 08. Unless there's a redesign then they'll release them earlier. So if you're waiting for 09 i'm guessing after Sept

while any minor re-design is possible, I dont see why it would warrent an "early" release of say, April/May... I would think more so July/August is when you'd be able to order/see an 09 model... IIRC they did many minor changes/re-designs on the 1st gens when they were released... 93-95 i believe there was many minor changes, grill, accessories, badges, i think even color options... 96 was unchanged, and 97 too had some minor changes... as well as any recalls or adjustments that pervious year models had many common problems with

I wanted the 6speed but the wife can't drive it. Plus Traffic in MASS is a pain in the Butt. Plus, I'm a lazy shifter.

Haven't you heard? It's going to be a tri-turbo AWD that runs off of used cooking oil... :hide
