2009 maxima tint/felt

hi. is there anyone out there that has tinted their 09 max? and if there are, was felt also installed to protect the tint. just wanted to make sure i can go without the felt when i tint my 09 max. another thing. the dealer has a security sysem for my 09 max and wants to charge me 700. well i told him that id rather go somewhere else to get an alarm and he told me that if someone other than nissan installs the alarm, then my warranty on on the entire electrical system of the car will no longer be under warranty. was the guy just trying to bull**** me?

SOUNDS LIKE SHIZ TO ME , but i dont work at a dealer. some people on here do.

if they want to charge you a RIDICULOUS amount of money to "install" the dealer alarm, just ask how much it would cost for you to bring them your own alarm system to get installed at their labor cost.(i'd recommend a high quality VIPER system). first ask them how much it would cost in just Labor to install their system so they cant jump the price b/c you are using an outside source for the alarm.

other than that, i've NEVER heard something like that...it sounds like a cheap "scare tactic" to me.

i tinted my super black 09 a week ago now.. i dont know what felt is though?? i had them put in solarguard metallic 15% black tint.

oh and ab0ut the alarm.. id say go without it.. alarms are overrated.. if u have insurance then whoooo cares if they steal it.. haha
