2009 Maxima - Premium + Technology Package - Video Mode?!

I'm a bit confused; in the 'sources' by the radio, there's a mode whereby I can change the screen to a few different options, including 'Cinema', etc.

I know it sounds too good to be true, but could this be for movies or videos? Also, what's the purpose of the Memory Card slot & how to you open it without ruining that embossed black cover on the dash?

I can tell already that I'm gonna love these forums almost as much as I love my Maxima so far. I already put 500 miles on it in a matter of days and find myself going out for midnight drives, for no reason at all.
