what other accessories will i need?finikM35 wrote:Im going to try to sell my car so my coilovers will be for sale soon. D2 for AWD version
Would you be able to post pics of the camber kit, specifically the upper control arms? I would love to get them but am afraid that my front end may be bent a bit due to a front side collision. I would love to see the angles of the mounting bushings.timothy.kelley86 wrote:Just my 2 cents...
I have a 2008 base model (no AWD) and put Eibach springs in as I read somewhere no further components would be needed to correct my alingment. Boy was that wrong. As soon as they were put in the car's previous amazing driving went to s***. I bought the full SPC corrective package (adjustable camber kit, upper control arms, rear toe arms) and now it is back to that lovely facotry ride; while being lowered of course. All together it was around $1200 with installation but man is it worth it...
Hey Man, it just depends on how low you want you ride and if you are going with after market rims.NycGMONyc wrote:I wanna lower my car right now it is sitting on the stock wheels, will upgrade later on.
I dont know what to get Springs or coilover?
and what else will i need to get the alignment close to stock
THANK YOU

What exactly do you mean the amazing driving went to s***? I have a 2006 M45 Sport and it drives the same, it actually gives me less body roll when I make turns, but the ride comfort is the same. I installed Eibach Pro springs.timothy.kelley86 wrote:Just my 2 cents...

I would be interested in buying your coil covers.finikM35 wrote:Im going to try to sell my car so my coilovers will be for sale soon. D2 for AWD version
Hey are you suggesting a trade? My d2 coilovers for your control arms and espiler springs? I would be willing.blfolson wrote:I have an M35x lowered
To keep things correct i used the machined front control arms and bolts (about 1.5 negative camber). I would be happy to sell them to you. for the rear I also the espiler m35x specific coils;

Those are hard to get but I maybe willing to sell mine because i need new struts and shocks. I'm thinking of trying coil overs.
You can also machine a couple of items in the rear to correct for rear camber, which i did.
if you dont get to M35X specific springs or coil overs you will have some additional challenges on the X model.
finikM35 wrote:Once i get KYB rear shocks ill sell my coilovers. You don't need anything to install D2 coilovers except 2 wrenches(forks) that come with it. I was told i might need camber arms, but my allignment was fine without.
Some comfort was lost but handling was improved x100. MUCH less bodyroll and its much more fun to drive. Oh and looks amazing

I think mie has 19 stock but i think i will b going 20 at the most, i think 1.5-1.75 drop is good enoughPartysan7 wrote:Depends how low you want and most importantly with what wheels, diameter width and offset play a big role. I personally have coilovers which to me is the way to go for couple of reasons ( height and dampening adjustments) and its worth the money.
Example: 2" drop with aftermarket wheels lets say 20x9 et30 will have very small camber angle whereas stock 18" x8.5 et50 with same 2" drop will have a lot of negative camber and look like sh*t.
Also I live in Nj so winter weather is almost here. I will be putting my stock 18s on and raise the car, another plus with coilovers.
Btw. Most of the time camber adjustment kits are not neccessary but thats just me...
