Recently purchased a 5k LED Fog Light replacement.

Anyone have the steps in order to replace fogs for a 2009 M35x? :bs:

I haven't done this, but if it's anything like the older Y50, I think you remove the splash guards from the wheel wells and access the fog lights from 'behind the bumper'.

Not quite sure what you'r eon about, BUT ... If you just want to change out the halogen bulb for an LED bulb, check the post I did when I replaced the fog lights on my 2007 M35. It includes a link to get replacement housings and also instructions on how to get the trim peieces off the bumper. you just remove the trim, unscrew the fog lamp and insert your new bulb.
If you are doing some sort of HID fog set-up, you will need to remove the wheels and inner fender lining to find space for the ballasts, etc. But just to change bulbs in the fogs or replace the fogs, just remove the bumper trim pieces.

new-mods-completed-this-week-t588873.ht ... piaa%20fog (i did all those mods in May and in Sept my car was totaled by by a drink driving girl)

FYI: on the 2009 M35, it's the same - you remove the black rubber trim pieces that surround the fogs and you can unscrew them and replace bulbs that way.

Ilya was referring to the wheel liners. Remove the wheel, remove the wheel liner and the back of the fog lamps are right there. Easy.

Ilya and Svard are correct. Either way it's an easy job. For me, it was about convenience. If I had a lift at home like Ilya, I'd use that. You can hoist the car up so that after the wheel and inner fender are off, everything is at shoulder level, easy to see, and easy to reach. If you jack the car and put it on stands, you will need to sit on the ground, bend forward, and reach for everything and if you're nearly 6'4" with a rugby build, that's not comfy. I did mine whilst seated on the ground facing the front bumper. For me that was easiest. It's just a matter of what's comfy for you.
Your case is unique in that you already have to remove the rubber fog trim for the DRLs anyway, I'd just unscrew the fog lamps, let them fall forward, and replace the bulbs from the back. Everything is facing you, you have plenty of light, and you won't be reaching up under the wheel well or bumper. You can also polish the lenses before you replace the rubber fog trim pieces while you're there.
