2009 M35X AWD Light Solid
Hey and thanks for the add. Have had my m35x for several years now and no issues. Today I was driving down the highway and heard a whining noise in the center console. The noise went down as I slowed a little. After a minute of the noise I heard a small thump and then the AWD light on the dash went solid . I ran a meter to see if there we're any codes and nothing. The car still drives as normal if that helps.
Any ideas on what the issue is?

130K.. I haven't personally had it changed. The previous owner did around 80K.

Do you know if the transfer case/front differential fluids have been serviced recently?
Is the light still on and does it come on immediately you start the car?
