2009 G37 Remote Car Starter?

When I bought my G I asked for a remote car starter and the salesperson told me it wasn't an option on the G. That sucked but I was in love so I bought it anyway. I sent a friend down to the same dealer and he bought the same car in white. With a remote freakin car starter!!! Not a happy camper am I.

So I did a search for a previous thread and found one back in 2005 for the G's and read about the keyless ignition issue and it costing about $800-1,000 for the install from the dealer.

I was hoping some of the tech guys could let me know how much I would be looking at now and if it is still an issue.

I will be talking with the salesman about telling me I couldn't get it on mine!?

yea, remote start isn't recommended to install on our newer cars. What I do, is just go outside in the morning, start it up, close the door and push the lock button on my remote and go back inside to let the car warm up. talk to your sales guy and tell him you are very dissappointed in him and to give you free stuff.

I do the same thing now but it was 5°F this morning. Or maybe I should say F'n 5°.

Remote car starter will be installed by the dealer ASAP.

So I'm expecting around $1,000 but the service guy at my dealership isn't returning my calls. This dealership is not impressing me with the treatment I was expecting when they ranted and raved about the Infiniti ownership experience program inner circle crap.

just a little fyiYears ago, one of my co-workers didn't show for work on Monday.He had recently remarried, was living in a condo near downtown CLT and was supposed to be moving into a house that weekend, but the move was postponed a week.Well, that weekend his neighbor accidentally auto started their car in the evening in the garage that was under the condo. Both couples perrished that weekend.
