2010 EX35: Passenger side airbag On/Off

HELLO, GUYS.

I PURCHASED 2010 INFINITI EX 35 on May, 2010.

YOU KNOW HOW THERE IS A "PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG OFF" LIGHT.

ACCORDING TO INFINITI SERVICE CENTER NEARBY, IT IS DESIGNED TO DETECT CHILD OR SMALL ADULT WHO IS LESS THAN 100 POUNDS SEATING ON PASSENGER SIDE AND PREVENT PASSENGER SIDE AIRBAG FROM DEPLOYING IN ACCIDENT. THEY SAID FOR CHILDREN OR SMALL ADULT LESS THAN 100 POUNDS, IT IS BETTER TO HAVE NO AIRBAG ON CRASH BECAUSE IT WILL CAUSE MORE HARM THAN GOOD.

there is a recall for the passenger airbag. ask your dealership about it or search for it on the web yourself. i got a letter notified me to come to the dealership to get it replace. If not, you can put your luggage on her to weight her down more but hopefully, you don't have to.

mine is 08 awd ex. i think the recal number is P8243. i am not sure if it is only for 08 model but i just receive it 3 or 4 months ago. i haven't got the time to get it fix yet.
