Automotion

May 16th & 17th 2009Wisconsin Dells, WI

For anyone looking for meets, this one is always a huge turn out of a variety of cars (muscle and import) and a lot of fun. It's more than just the outlined schedule and cars. Usually people stay the weekend with friends; hang out, look at cars, attend some of the scheduled actual Automotion events during the day, then drink and party at night.

More than likely I'll be there again this year.

I'll most likely make an appearace, I haven't been there for a few years, but i remember in 05? or so they weren't real import friendly...

Am i glad i got a place about 20 min outside of the dells not have to worry about the car is a plus.

Last year was the first year I went, i went with a group of DSMers mostly bringing their DSMs. Lots of the interacting we did with our DSMs was outside the actual Automotion Show (only stopped in there for a looksy). I know that a lot of the hotel lots and park lots were full of imports or people that were friendly no matter what your hobby is.

Overall it was a great meet experience personally.

i know we will be together going lol.. that's a given. who else would you rather hang out with lol. just gotta book hotel soon, last year we took up a whole floor and then two other rooms in a motel though bc everything was booked. i wanna stay at waterpark resort.. get some use of the slides drunk off our asses at night.

the question is who would u rather hang out with? lol EXACTLY! u know its me! i was plannin on maybe the wilderness? havent been to that park and they got some pretty good rates that time of the year.

... im not a fan of the wilderness.. ever since they took our keg last year...

i was with my buddy mike tonite and hes game on comin up to the kalahari with a girl. and i know i could get my buddy tim and his girl kristen to go. Definitely would be able to rent a condo for the weekend and have a nice kegger

it's a vacation house 30ish min north of the dells.

i'm sorry i'd rather know cars are getting screwed with and i'd like to be at a house.

ill be at a hotel lol.. why would i wanna be 30mins outside of the car show and all the people? where's the fun in being drunk not around other random drunks? best time to meet people and make unforgetable memories even if they are only remembered because it's captured on camera. plus your car is right outside the door and most of the night you'll be outside within site of it talking and drinking with people.

I would stop over though.

I do live in Wisconsin, and yes I am a professional drinker. So, as long as s*** doesn't get broke/stolen, We could have a couple of barrels. I do have to check with the date. I have 2 weeks that have to be used before spring break otherwise they just disappears.

I'll keep you posed on whats going on with it. I'd like to see how hard the 240 world can part.
