i have an 09 altima drive to work at 3 a.m. 90 miles no problem. drive home around noon with outside temp. over 100 degrees. after approximately 60 miles car loses acceleration and drops down to around 60 mph. if stop slow to get going. turn the car off and let set for hour and runs fine. dealer changed crankshaft sensor did not help. check engine light does not come on and told nothing shows wrong when checked

Welcome!

Where do you live? In Cali? Hope this answers your question. There's nothing wrong with your car. Your CVT overheated so it loses acceleration in order to protect itself. A member on here named Funkee had the same problem driving through Vegas. Ask us first before you hit the Stealers ;) to see if we can answer your question.
