Hey guys Nissan finally has the 09' coupes on their website. Looks like they changed the 2.5 wheels too. Wow do they look ugly!!!! Looks like they also raised the price too. Just thought I would let every one know!!!

reminds me of the last altima generation hubcaps (05-06). gives more incentive to upgrade to the convenience package with the 16'' wheels i guess.

I'm still on the fence about these new wheels. I'm not sure they're better than the 08 3.5SE 17". The only positive is they're now 18" I guess...

it also appears that you can no longer get the six speed on the 3.5 and get the tech package at the same time. if you select tech package, it forces you to get the CVT.

The interior pics on the nissan site show a manual coupe with the tech package. Wonder which way they will go.

Additionally, if you try to add the VDC in, it also switches to CVT. Guess I won't be using VDC anytime soon... hehe.

Anyone know how to order the 3.5 SE w/ Convenience Package? It's not an option on the website and last time I asked a dealer they said it was impossible.

thx!

That's because the 3.5 SE doesn't have a convenience package?

yeah the convenience package is only for the 2.5, the base 3.5 already has all of that stuff

oh, yeh, I just checked the site, I didn't know the convenience package were a bunch of basic features..... For some reason I was under the impresison that it was the Xenon HID's and the Bluetooth (basically the Premium but without the leather or Bose)... dream on, huh? haha

thx

whoa! they really did raise the price, also like how it says cvt is included but once you select it the price changes...not sure about the wheels either, look a bit too close to fake cover

HOLY SH*T, I would have had to pay 3gs more for my same set up AND I would've been stuck with the CVT... kind of makes me feel like I didn't get raped. (good sigh)

The 3.5 looks nice, but those new stock wheels on the 2.5 are gross. Waaay too chunky.

I'm confused. The price on the 3.5 SE looks maybe $600 more expensive than the 2008 3.5 SE,,??,,,,,, besides for the fact that Nissan has specials going on right now w/ the 2008 models which offer cash-back.

Wow, It looks like Nissan decided to really PUSH the CVT.....

Most good upgrades; (S Premium or fogs for 2.5), (Tech Package or VDC for 3.5)... And No 6MT for U!

I bet the aftermarket installers are happy while many potential performance customers are pissed...

Possible a good money decision on Nissan's part but they turned their back on many folks that actually enjoy driving. sad...

I wonder if they can make any exceptions to these new configuration rules since they did not seem to be a problem for the 2008 production?

Like PhillipRumans said above, the interior Pic's definitely show a 6MT with the NAV. Good observation!

If you configure a 2.5, it can have 6mt and tech package. Methinks the interior pic is of a 2.5 6mt w/ tech.

Oh wait... Nvm. Stupid Nissan! It only allows Convenience Package w/o CVT. Anything above that (Premium and Tech) require CVT. WTFNissan?

LOL!I just checked the site and you can't take the blond leather interior with the blue coupe anymore! And you can't take the vdc or the tech packages witout the cvt transmission.

my coupe's resale price and rarity level just skyrocketed! HOLY MACKEREL!

Stop mentioning the resale of your car. You shall keep the A/C until it rots! Anything else is a sin.

I have an '09 coupe with 3.5/6MT, Premium, Tech, and VDC.

I ordered it before the '09s were out; I don't know if that makes a difference.

Maybe the website only lets you 'build' any of the standard combos that Nissan will stock in AVR. At the dealer, you should be able to order any combination of packages, options, colors, etc. It seems that most Americans are so into the 'I have to have it now!' mindset that they will settle for something else if they can drive it home today. When I ordered my car, the manager of the dealership could not believe I was willing to wait eight weeks to have the car exactly as I wanted it. The cashier wasn't even sure how to process a factory order!

Of course, the other possibility is my car is one-of-a-kind!
