I figured I would try this question one more time in this forum before giving it up. My AC is not working. When I push the AC button, it lights up but the magnetic clutch does not engage. The fuse is good and there is power to the fuse block when the button is pushed. I pulled the wiring connector at the compressor and do no get any power there when the AC is on so the compressor and clutch are most likely ok. I have also verified the system is charged with 80 psi on each side with the system off. Probably an electrical problem somewhere. Any suggestions on what I can test or anything else before I have to take it to a shop?

Hi jm88. You might not get 12V to the connector for other reasons (bad pressure sensor for example).
First step is to confirm that there is no power to the compressor. Fortunately this cars have electric system self test. Here is how you invoke it:

The car will start turning different modules on and off - wipers, lights, AC compressor. I believe the AC compressor test starts right after lights. If you go in front of the car you will hear ac relay clicking on and off 3 or 5 times (don't remember). Hook up a meter on the connector for the compressor and if you get 12V, it is all good with the power to the compressor. If no 12V, you might have bad AC compressor relay. I had AC problem recently on my 2007 altima, and it was bad ac clutch coil, so it was not engaging. If you have 12V to the connector connect it back run the test again and look for the clutch engaging.
