I know no one knows for sure but what are some people's guesses for the date the 2009 A/Cs will be available for sale? The 09 Altima sedan's already being advertised on the Nissan site... makes me anxious to see what they've done with the 09 Coupe. I know they'll change very little but still very curious...

i decided this past week would get an altima but i ran it by my father, the co-signer, and he said i should just get the 09. so i'm going to wait it out. theyll probably just change a few options. add some more options and maybe add a few colors. maybe a grille. in a couple years they might change the tail lights. but i'm curious too...

I haven't been keeping up on the rumors, so how likely is it that they'll be doing away with the 6MT and using only the CVT from now on? My roomie fell in love with mine and wants to get one next year but he's pretty set on driving a stick......

I really dont think nissan would ostracize thier stick fanbase . . . i mean i know they market the hell out of the CVT, but this is supposed to be a sporty affordable alternative to the 350Z no? why would your produce a car with 'sporty' in the description and only produce it in auto?

oh and on the date, i recently ordered a 6MT (Cause they dont exist in dealerships on the east cost stock) and my order got canceled on me because of 09 production. My dealer said i would have ot wait until late sept / early oct for the 09. my car is about to die, so i am going to have to give in on some of my options =/ not too happy about it

The best thing Nissan could do for us is to drop the Coupe completely, making our cars incredibly scarce and valuable.

Carmakers have been kicked around too long. It's time for them to remind buyers to step up when they see something they like. I think the A/C is an incredibly well thought-out car that is getting a lukewarm response in the market.

I'll see if I can fit in a GT-R. If not, the '09 Maxima looks pretty sweet, with Horsepower bumped to 290.

Wow, that's pretty damn soon. I'm wondering how much the price will go up... If it doesn't go up too much, maybe I'll hold out for an 09.

BTW, nightrain, your avatar's givin' me nightmares. :P
