i got the altima and my friend has a grand prix gt and he is bragging that he will smoke me but i think it will be neck to neck on a hwy starting at 50 what u guys think or even at a light .both are stock!!

even if he has the "supercharged" engine on the grandprix he is only pushing 240 HP, and he probably doesn't even have the supercharged one so he's isn't even pushing 200+HP

i raced him on hwy 237 northbound (mountain view going toward milpitas) i think it was north wat ever we started at 55mph and we honked 3 times i started to beat him it was one car length and then we started going 85 90 and it was neck to neck. his limiter kick in at 100 and i smoked him after i went 120 . i was damn he was close but i won.after the race he got all butt hurt he wanted to do this to me

lol if it was neck and neck at 90-100, you got lucky he hit his limiter... the 3.5se altima coupe is fast and ive beaten several cars but at 90 it gets slower, 110, even slower, 120+ and a honda civic could kill a 3.5se altima coupe

seriously, anyone whos tried to top out a 3.5se CVT knows what I'm talking about. after 120 MPH it acts like the slowest car in the world. it takes FOREVER to go from 120-130 MPH. that extra 10 MPH feels like your trying to accelerate in a GEO metro... a Geo metro with a misfire in one of the cylinders!

Sure, it always means something but from a dig weight means far more while it means less since momentum is already established at higher speeds. So unless you're on a track where cornering is an issue then it wouldn't matter as much since you're simply going in a straight line.

-i have yet to go up against my cousin brother with his GTP, well i cant now besause his engine is knocking..would that be fair to go against an older motor?
