2009 and 2010 M35 equiped with VQ35HR
2008 and prior M35 equpiemt with VQ35DE

are their exhaust same??? specifically Mid pipe and Muffler
are they interchangeable btween pre 08 and post 09??

I was told bolt pattern are different, is it true??

also, I know Y-pipe are different between pre 08 and post 09, but are the bolt pattern/joint at where Y-pipe connect to
Mid pipe the same??

I want to buy exhaust for my 2010 M35, but so far every where I look most of them say 06 to 08 only, and when I called the manufacture and aske if it fit 2009, 2010, no one able to give me a sure answer. some suggest finding out if OE exhaust are the same between the two.

Unfortunately, I've got nothing for you... Maybe it would be worth your while to make friends with someone at your dealership and see if they'll let you look under one of the cars they have on the lot?
