2008 Versa Hood Won't Open...

The hood on my 2008 nissan versa hatchback won't open. When i pull the lever on the inside of my car there is nearly no resistance and it makes a clicking sound under the hood where the latch would be.

Is there a way to fix this ourselves or do i have to get it professionally fixed？

After you have pulled the handle on the inside, try pushing down on the hood a little to see if that will help it free up.

Or, you could have a broken cable...

You could always have Nissan take a look at it and tell you whats wrong.

Than if they won't fix it you could buy the parts and fix it yourself, but you would at least know where to start.
